I Heart Faces

The theme for this week at I Heart Faces is "Best Face Photo from March". This is my first ever entry. I snapped this picture of Avery the other day while I was feeding her lunch. Avery is so animated and makes a ton of faces, but I love this one the best by far!!

Fun with Friends and Family

This past weekend I was able to meet up with friends and family in Houston. My friend Dawn, asked me to do her makeup for her bridal portraits and it was so much fun!! I can't believe she's getting married soon!! She also asked me to take a couple of pictures for her graduation invitations!

The kids and I also met up with my aunt and cousins at the rodeo. Cam and the kids had so much fun riding rides and playing with each other! So glad I was able to go!

Cam says....

In this edition of Cam says....

We went outside to get the mail and Cam had some ear phones on. On our way back inside the house....

Cam: "Mom, I was talking to my brother, he's far away."
Me: "You don't have a brother."
Cam: "No, it's a girl..."
Me: "A girl named Brother.....you're so silly!"
Cam: "Yeah...don't you know I make jokes...I make jokes mommy!"

Saturday Fun

This past Saturday, I was able to get together with one of my very good friends, Jami! We haven't seen each other in forever and it was very nice to get to see her and her kiddos!! Can't wait to see her again! She asked me to take some pics of her and the kids and of course I did! I got some great shots. I got home and put my card in my computer....and all the pictures were gone....I was pretty upset about it all. I found some software on the internet that I was able to download and it showed that the pictures were able to be recovered...I just had to pay for the full version to do it. I wasn't ready to pay up, so I tried a few different things...with no luck. So last night I bought the full version of the software and I am SO VERY glad that I did! Here are a few pictures!!

My silly boy....

Camden says some pretty funny stuff...almost daily....I have to start posting them so I don't forget!!

Today we had family pictures taken. So great since I'm usually the one taking the pictures and have very few of me with my family. On our way home from our shoot, Camden was pretty whiney....Derick was getting irritated (I was too). Derick asked "Why are you so whiney?" I said, "It's because he's tired." From the backseat Camden pipes in, "I'm not tired!" A couple of minutes later Cam starts yawning. I said, "I thought you weren't tired Cam?" Cam answers, "I'm not tired! I was just stretching my mouth!!"

8 MONTHS!!!

My sweet Avery is 8 months old today!! She is crawling all over the place, extremely fast too!! She's pulling up and walking along everything she can. She's been trying to let go but that hasn't turned out in her favor yet! She likes to play with Cam's toys and it makes him mad. She likes to eat my food, no baby food! She still won't take a cup or bottle, though!! Her first tooth pushed through her gums this weekend. She's been a ton of fun the past 8 months and it makes me so sad that she's getting big so fast!!
